  • We offer a range of events, from away days, weekends away to European road trips. Our tours are designed for the passengers as well as the drivers. While we hand-pick great driving routes, we focus on the whole story; if you enjoy great food, beautiful scenery, high-quality hotels and a relaxed vibe you’ll feel right at home—whether you’re behind the wheel or in the passenger seat.

  • With a Road Stories weekend, and longer, trips, you are financially protected under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, through our Financial Failure Insurance.

  • Yes, with our bespoke tours and events you can let Road Stories handle it, taking the pressure off you events co-ordinator, so you all enjoy the drive. Whether you want a custom roadbook, a full tour led by ourselves or a luxury weekend event, we curate the adventure to suit your group’s style

  • Of course! We like our tours to feel friendly and if you are a solo traveller, that you quickly become part of the group. It’s part of the reason we include experiences as part of the trips. Our standard pricing is based on two sharing a car and accomodation, but we can arrange sole occupancy rooms if required and will advise on single supplement pricing. We’d love to have you on the trip and we’re happy to talk through any concerns you might have. Please email info@road-stories.co.uk and we can arrange a video call to put you at ease.

  • Nobody likes sitting in a long queue at a junction or waiting two hours for a group lunch to be served. By keeping our groups intimate:

    • We can access "off-the-beaten-path" locations that larger groups can't.

    • We can stay in boutique hotels and offer smaller, more private experiences.

    • You get to meet and talk to everyone on the tour, enjoying open roads and curated experiences.

    Whether you’re coming solo, with a partner, or bringing a friend, you’re part of the inner circle from the moment we set off.

  • Please contact us on info@road-stories.co.uk and we can discuss. this often depends on how close the trip is and what the change is that needs to be made.

    For any changes in details, please contact us as soon as possible on info@road-stories.co.uk giving your trip reference. We will try to assist you.

  • For all trips and experiences, it is your responsibility, as described in our terms and conditions, to take out appropriate breakdown, roadside assistance and recovery.

    Our team will stay in touch with you as emotional support through the experience and will try to help with local support where possible.

  • You will receive a confirmation email on paying your deposit, and updates via email closer to the time. Once the final payment is made, you receive your Road Stories pack which includes your travel details, itinerary and road book.

    The road stories pack for your trip will give you meeting places, times and locations, including postcodes and what3words locations as needed.

  • Our road trips are focussed on high performance and sports cars but we do also cater some events to your daily driver, such as our  Non-Uniform Days, designed to  specifically celebrate the cars we use every day during those winter months.

    If you’re concerned about your vehicle, or suitability of a tour please contact us and we can talk this through with you.

  • No! We love to drive, but we believe in quality over quantity. A typical day includes a mix of driving and plenty of time to explore our destinations, enjoy a long lunch, or relax at the hotel. We aim for a balance that leaves you feeling refreshed, not exhausted.

    Each tour has a lead car, but if you prefer to make the journey at your own pace, prefer a more leisurely breakfast or would like to make a detour,  we do provide meeting points and indicative times if you’d like to rejoin the group at one of our stops, or join us at the hotel at the end of day. The choice is yours!
